Shivleen was born and raised in Edmonton, Alberta and moved to the lower mainland to join our office in 2018.
Shivleen attended the University of Alberta where she completed her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology in 2015. She obtained her Juris Doctor degree from Bond University in Australia in 2018.
While abroad, Shivleen gained practical experience while volunteering at Bond University’s Law Clinic and the Gold Coast Community Legal Centre. It was the combination of her experience at the Gold Coast Community Legal Centre and her volunteer experience in her undergraduate degree that ultimately solidified her desire to pursue family law.
Aside from English, Shivleen is fluent in Punjabi and Hindi. She takes pride in her East Indian background, and as a first generation Canadian she is well rehearsed in bridging the East Indian and Canadian cultures together for the legal arena.
Outside of the office, Shivleen enjoys exploring BC’s nature trails, yoga and pilates classes, listening to spoken word poetry, painting, travelling, and spending time with her family and friends.
